Stonehenge Autumn Equinox Tour
The autumnal equinox falls on September 23rd in 2025, marking the official first day of Autumn as well as the pagan holiday, Mabon.
A time for Pagans to reflect on the past season, the Autumn Equinox otherwise known as Mabon or Harvest Home is celebrated when day and night is of equal duration before descending into increasing darkness. What better place to celebrate this time of year than visiting the monument of Stonehenge.
Mabon is a harvest festival, the second of three, that encourages pagans to "reap what they sow," both literally and figuratively. It is the time when night and day stand equal in duration; thus is it a time to express gratitude, complete projects and honor a moment of balance.
Some pagans mark the holiday by enjoying rich feasts with seasonal foods like apples, pomegranates and root vegetables. Many also observe rituals honoring the goddess' transition from mother to crone.

Important Info
This is not like our traditional guided 'Private Access' tour. Although this tour is guided it does not visit other attractions and is not everyone's cup of tea, however those who do participate will never forget it and will surely 'tell the tale' for many years to come...
For those of you who have not visited this sacred site, we should mention that the complex is roped off. Visitors observe the stones from a distance and are not permitted within the temple complex... our 'Autumn Equinox tour allow you to be amongst the stones before the site is open to the general public.
N.B. With this exception English Heritage do not allow any other 'private access' tours during this period
